Availability Monitoring
Verifies that
your systems are available on the Megaserve network
and notifies a technician if there are problems.
Server and
Service Monitoring Monitors servers and services on a 24-hour
basis and notifies a Megaserve technician if a system
experiences difficulty. An optional automatic SMS or
e-mail system is available for notification of problems.
Server Administration
(optional) Megaserve actively
monitors your disk space, processor and memory usage.
Our highly skilled on-site technical staff can take
responsibility for loading of the latest service packs
onto your server. The technicians can back-up and, if
specified, restore your server. Megaserve supports all
current Microsoft and Linux.
Data Backup & Recovery
(optional) Megaserve Backup &
Recovery service offers your business a fully managed
data protection system. Daily backups are performed
to a dedicated backup server. Secure space can be allocated
to you on the backup server from where your data will
be copied to tape. Weekly backups are made and stored
off site to further ensure against loss.
Remote Power Cycle (optional)
Allows you to remotely power cycle your equipment through
a secure web inter-face. This will cause the server
to reboot in the exact same manner as if the machine
were physically shut down.You will be able to reboot
your server whether it is responding or not.
A Firewall
(optional) To protect your server
against attack. Each server sits behind its own
firewall. This is the recommended option.
Remote Administration
(optional) Any changes you need
to make to your servers can be done remotely. You can
upload or alter information on your server 24-hours
a day, 7-days a week.
Hardware Rental
(optional) Megaserve can supply
you with a state-of-the-art server that you can run
your applications on. The server will remain the property
of Megaserve, making us responsible for all related
hardware maintenance and repairs.
